POSITION SUMMARY:We are currently recruiting for a Software Developer to work on our industry leading banking applications. This key individual will support Fiserv's clients in support of PEP+ ACH Outsourcing Environment.Job PurposeUnder general supervision, perform product design, bug verification, release testing, and support system implementations which may require research and analysis.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSReports To: Director ACH OutsourcingRESPONSIBILITIES:--- As part of the ACH Outsourcing Team, the Software Developer is required to develop customized solutions within the platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.--- Manage daily support and maintenance and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure compatibility with evolving mission requirements.--- Communicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.--- Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.--- Lead the knowledge sharing sessions where team shares ideas and new features of the product.--- Responsible for the technical aspects of daily production and test system support for multiple PEP+ environments.--- Participate in 24 x 7 on-call rotation for Production Support of multiple client environments. - Apply documented procedures (i.e. Service Now, Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, and Change Control) methodology for all tasks.The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job, and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:Education:--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.Job Related Experience:--- Experience in JCL, COBOL, DB2,--- Source Management Tools (Endevor),--- Transmission Tools (FTP, Direct: Connect),--- Job Scheduling (CA7),--- Application Production Support,--- PC tools (Word, Excel)--- PEP+ processing including:--- Database interrelationships--- User Exits--- Expanding PEP+ internal tables / file sizes--- Restarts and Recovery--- I/O Processing using Logical Views--- Fine Tuning--- Installation using EPPREP--- Modules (Risk, Prefunding, Early Warning System, ASAP, Dual Verification)Skills and Knowledge Preferred--- Strong working knowledge of the PEP+ application, with detailed understanding of NACHA rules and regulations. -
