Job Description:
What does a Software Development Engineering - Associate do?A
Software Development Engineer Associate works with a team of
development engineers to understand the on-going business
problem/requirements, build a high volume/scalable software
solution per the direction from other team members, and to provide
level 3 support of that application running in a production
environment. We have multiple real-time payment capabilities
running in production that continue to require level 3 application
support/monitoring, bug fixes, minor and major enhancements.Basic
Qualifications for Consideration: High School Diploma required,
Bachelors Degree preferred 1+ years of experience with Java and/or
C# to create RESTful services Has experience delivering 12-factor
applications or microservices in AWS, Azure, and/or Pivotal Cloud
Foundry 1+ years of agile software development as a
developerPreferred Skills, Experience, and Education: Ability to
understand requirements and code to those requirements Willing to
learn from, work with, and share knowledge with others Strong
troubleshooting skills and debugging skills Familiar with or
willing to learn SQL Server and NoSQL DBs (Cassandra, Mongo DB,
etc) Familiar with or willing to learn CI/CD tools/processes.
Angular UI development experience preferred Able to communication
proficiently to developers Approaches software development with an
open mind Possesses aptitude and interest in full stack engineering
- from server side to front-end Willing to learn new frameworks and
languages outside of current expertise Has previous experience with
object-oriented programming paradigms Knowledge of AppDynamics,
Dynatrace, Splunk and Moogsoft is a plus Associated topics:
