LexisNexis Risk Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the team developing a global product for enterprise-wide integration. You will be part of the team transforming the logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions by adopting the latest cloud-based tools and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:
--- 6+ years of Software Engineering experience
--- BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
--- Expertise in Java including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Data Flow development.
--- Strong knowledge of Java architectural principles and applied best practices to design and develop code APIs and Microservices.
--- Experience with cloud-based implementations is a plus (AWS, Azure, etc.)
--- Building CI/CD pipelines.
--- Expertise in agile/scrum and test-driven development and maintenance.
--- Ability to self-start, multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
--- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
--- Strong research skills. Good oral and written communications skills.

Hands on experience in below skills is preferred:
--- Infrastructure as Code automation: Terraform
--- Continuous Integration/Delivery Tools: GitLab, GitHub, JFrog, Maven
--- Orchestration frameworks: K8s, AKS, EKS
--- App containerization and packaging: Docker, HELM.
--- Observability tools: ELK, Open-Telemetry, AWS Cloud Watch, Azure Monitor.
--- Cloud Databases: PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, MySQL

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
--- Work effectively with team members and Architects to design, develop solutions and troubleshoot issues.
--- Development of Java micro-services.
--- Build and Automate CI/CD pipelines. Build and Enhance LN cloud infrastructure.
--- Coordinate releases by performing pre-release checks, deployments, post-release validation.
--- Ensure product deliverables meets highest standards of security.
--- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies like stand-up, kick off, demos, retrospective, and squad health checks.
--- Adapt, learn, and apply new frameworks, tools, services as required for the product development.
