You Are:
UST is searching for a Senior Software Engineering Lead who will act creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options, optimizing application development, maintenance, and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Account for others' developmental activities; assisting Project Manager in day-to-day project execution.
The Opportunity:

  • Interpret the application, feature, and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.
  • Code, debug, test, document, and communicate product, component, and feature development stages.
  • Validate results with user representatives, integrating and commissioning the overall solution.
  • Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving, or reconfiguration of existing components while creating your own solutions for new contexts
  • Optimizes efficiency, cost, and quality.
  • Influence and improve customer satisfaction
  • Influence and improve employee engagement within the project teams
  • Set FAST goals for self/team; provide feedback on FAST goals of team members This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
    What you need:
    • Preferred Pega certifications: CSA and/or CSSA
    • Hands-on experience on Pega 7.x and 8.x
    • Experience or knowledge of Pega strategic frameworks like CS/CPM and SD
    • Good understanding of Pega LayerCake, Rule resolution, Inheritance, and Dynamic Class Referencing.
    • Hands-on experience in Pega User Interface, HTML 5, Section rules
    • Extensive understanding and experience in Pega DataPages.
    • Experience in designing and developing flows with Pega case management.
    • Knowledge of Multi-tenancy is an added advantage.
    • Strong knowledge and experience in Integration engines and Connect rules
    • Experience in consuming REST, SOAP APIs, and also extending Pega workflows as APIs
    • Experience in other rule types like Flow Action, SLA, correspondence, Data transformation rules, PRPC Security, Single-Sign on, Listeners
    • Experience in developing reports at multi-level with knowledge of the BIX framework.
    • Knowledge of Pega Custom rule type and implementation.
    • Experience in analyzing Pega logs and Pega alert logs with the ability to use PAL, Log analyzer.
    • Experience in using Pega Admin studio to manage requestors and agents.
    • Good understanding of Pega best practices.
    • Understanding of Jenkins CI/CD or Pega CI/CD
    • Self-sufficient, quickly adaptable under multi-tenant architecture and design
