Position Summary:
SAP Test Lead professional, experienced in leading large, high performing global testing teams. This position is part of the Corporate Applications Quality Assurance and responsible for ensuring the quality of financial products and services using Agile, Waterfall, DevOps with CI/CD in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead QA delivery team (onshore / offshore model), including strategy & operations, while directing testing and delivery of enterprise applications across multiple streams and portfolios specifically for Oracle and SAP financial modules according to the business requirements.
Spearhead Test Strategy, Test Plans, Defect Management, Test Automation Strategy and Execution for various transaction types of financial solutions around corporate financial modules like Invoices, Accounting, Journals, Postings, General Ledgers, Assets, Payables & Receivables, for multiple portfolios.
Execute Test Planning and Automation for multiple strategic programs within the company's Financial Portfolio against well-defined milestones and business objectives.
Communicate and advise Senior Executive Leadership in matters of testing inclusive of statuses, health, risk, estimates, day-to-day operations, and long-term strategic roadmap.
Participate in and contribute to project discussions including Requirements, Design discussions and weekly meetings.
Maintenance / tracking of QA KPIs, Metrics pertain to Quality (Total Defects, Defect Density, Defect per hour, Defect leakage), Automation (Coverage, Velocity, Failure Rate, Utilization rate, ROI, Script Creation effectiveness) and Time to Market (Defect turnaround, Defect retest turnaround time, Fix failure rate) with Root Cause assessments, Statistics, and recommendations.
Role Requirements:
Experience leading cross-functional SAP teams to understand to be landscape/processes, develop and document testing requirements between systems and S/4 HANA
Capable of executing and completing assigned projects within the time, scope, and budget negotiated with the client
Independently own assigned projects to drive all testing activities by forming a partnership with system analysts, business, project managers, and various other team members
Skilled at evaluating existing processes and procedures and making recommendations for improvement; designing prototypes and proof of concepts that best fit client needs
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks; TOSCA
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills from both a business and systems perspective
Highly self-motivated and directed leader
Capable of effectively prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment
Able to facilitate open discussion and construct debate
Experience working in Agile and traditional development environments
Knowledge in large-scale SAP deployment, implementation, support and/or upgrade projects
Experience in Test Management (developing Test strategies, Test Data management, developing and executing Test Scenarios and Cases on SAP platform and its integrations across other non-SAP systems)
Technical Skills/ Qualifications:
Experienced QA Test Lead in Financial Services - IT Industry especially in Oracle and SAP financial modules.
Minimum of a 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical/analytical degrees.
4-7 years of related technical and business leadership experience with Quality Assurance and Testing discipline.
Proven experience in all aspects of SDLC, Agile development, DevOps and Continuous delivery principles in SAP Landscape
2+ years of experience building automation testing frameworks using tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, QTP/UFT.
Knowledge and experience in working with SAP S4/Hana and SAP analysis tool Tricentis LiveCompare
