Responsibilities The A2C ERP Solutions Architect is a key role within the IT Enterprise Financial Systems team, focused on working with our global enterprise finance business partners to provide technology solutions to complex business problems, enhancing business capabilities, improving productivity and reducing cost. The successful candidate must have a strong background in the design, development and implementation of enterprise applications of a global scale. They will provide technical expertise, oversight and guidance to delivery teams to ensure a robust, scalable and consistent design of solutions to meet changing business requirements across our financial and associated systems and business processes. This role is one of a small team of architects in our organization who own our financial systems designs, ensuring the various designs in specific areas of our financial scope are consistent and global in their size, scope and applicability. Given our REIT status and supporting ERP designs, this individual will help to ?protect the REIT?, ensuring our future designs and business processes do not jeopardize our REIT certification. This specific role will be focused in our Agreements to Cash (A2C) area, dealing with accounts receivable, collections and related business processes; it will be co-located with our A2C business team in our Royersford, PA offices. Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: * Understand the business vision, drivers, goals and objectives to lead solution teams and projects * Provide technical leadership for project teams to deliver complex applications or custom solutions while possessing strong problem solving skills across many applications and technologies. Develop the solution architecture artifacts including sequence diagrams and logical architecture viewpoints * Work with delivery teams to conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates for overall efforts associated with financial systems projects * Lead and mentor the wider team and be responsible for key design decisions utilizing an iterative approach to development. * Partner with finance and other business owners to ensure process changes and system development activities meet the overall strategy * Ensure end-to-end consistency in design/solution across global finance/ERP footprint. Serve on the Global Design Authority cross-functional team to ensure designs are appropriate across our portfolio. * Participation in acquisition integration or divestiture activities to ensure the business team is prepared to take on new acquisition or divestiture activity as it relates to integration to IRM financial systems. * Assist as needed in annual planning activities for business / technology roadmaps and associated projects with associated business cases and other items as required. Qualifications This significant role has a broad knowledge of financial systems and processes, as well as the requisite skillset for requirements gathering and facilitation. Key requirements include: * Extensive background/knowledge of ERP systems, with a focus on financial components and their implementation in a global setting. Specific Oracle ERP techno-functional experience with Oracle financials is required. Broad module experience is ideal ? specific background in Accounts Receivable and Oracle Advanced Collections is critical. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Procurement/Expense Management. * 8+ years? experience designing and implementing global enterprise applications * Strong business process and finance acumen; strong communication skills and proficiency in cross-functional interactions * Strong knowledge of project management planning principles, tools and techniques * Demonstrated knowledge of application architectures and integration/interface points similar to those that exist at Iron Mountain * Demonstrated knowledge of legacy software and architecting solutions, including the migration/upgrade of software and IT environments from legacy environments to current solutions. * Strong OOD and UML skills, be able to create and demonstrate design documentation and solution architecture * Successful track record of application development and solution delivery with at least 5 years of experience in delivering high quality solutions * Ability to model and map how information concepts flow between systems and organizations. Ability to model at a high level subject areas, entities and tables used in key processes. Ability to describe and propose data integration patterns and techniques. Ability to read and understand SQL, data models (i.e. Erwin). * Demonstrated knowledge of security models associated with IT applications, data and infrastructure. Ensures process and procedures are in place to enhance security and controls. Collaborates and communicates with other areas to stay informed of changes and developments that may require Information Security intervention as well as keeping other departments informed of security initiatives that may affect other business units. * Strong experience with application integration disciplines: SOA, web services, enterprise service buses, message brokers, remote procedure calls, asynchronous/synchronous messaging, ETL, and replication. * Strong knowledge of enterprise class software requirements including security, scalability, availability, usability, and capacity and performance. * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving abilities * Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands. * Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees: team members, IT and business leadership, support groups, etc. Education: * Minimum Bachelor?s degree, Master?s in Business or Computer Science a plus * Minimum of 10 years of business process, integration, development or information management experience Compliance Obligations: It is the responsibility of every Iron Mountain employee: + to comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company policies + to exhibit ethical behavior in accordance with our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct + to complete required training within the allotted time frame Iron Mountain is an equal opportunity employer, and does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity characteristics or expression, disability, medical condition, U.S. Military or veteran status or other legally protected classifications in making employment decisions.
