Job Description Job Description Associate Attorney – Community Association & HOA Law Atlanta, GA | Full-Time | On-Site A well-established law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to support a growing Community Association / HOA practice . This role offers a mix of litigation and advisory work involving condominium associations, homeowners’ associations (HOAs), developer transitions, and real estate-related disputes. The position provides direct collaboration with senior attorneys and partners, exposure to both portfolio-based matters and individual cases, and frequent interaction with boards, property managers, and homeowners. Core Responsibilities Handle litigation and dispute resolution matters, including pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals Draft and respond to discovery requests Conduct legal research and analysis involving statutes, case law, and community association regulations Advise HOA and condominium boards on governance, compliance, and enforcement of governing documents Draft, review, and amend declarations, bylaws, rules, and regulations Manage assessment collection matters , including demand letters, lien filings, foreclosures, and litigation support Assist with real estate issues impacting associations, including easements, boundary disputes, and common-area conveyances Support business development efforts, including client proposals and presentations Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active bar admission 1–5 years of litigation or related legal experience Exposure to real property law, condominium law, HOA law, or community association law strongly preferred Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Ability to communicate effectively with non-lawyer clients , including boards and property managers Why This Opportunity Unique practice niche with strong demand and long-term stability Meaningful client interaction and hands-on responsibility Collaborative environment with mentorship and growth potential This is a confidential search for a highly marketable practice area.
