Job Description Job Description Position Title: Warehouse Manager Salary Range: $50-55k Location: Roswell, GA Position Summary The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations for a flooring company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety in handling, storing, and distributing materials. This role manages a team of up to 10 employees and is responsible for optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory control, and supporting the company's commitment to high-quality service. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Management Supervise, train, and motivate a warehouse team of up to 10 employees. Develop and implement work schedules to meet business needs. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for professional growth. Warehouse Operations Oversee receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch of flooring products. Ensure warehouse processes meet company standards for accuracy and timeliness. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment. Coordinate with installers, sales teams, and logistics to ensure timely deliveries. Inventory Control Monitor and reconcile inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overages. Implement cycle counts and audits for accuracy. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software to track materials. Health & Safety Compliance Enforce safety protocols and compliance with OSHA and company policies. Conduct regular safety training and inspections. Report and investigate workplace incidents promptly. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs. Recommend and implement best practices in warehouse operations. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the operations team. Qualifications 3 years of warehouse or logistics management experience, preferably in flooring, construction materials, or related industries. Proven leadership experience managing a team of up to 10 people. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and safety regulations. Proficiency with warehouse management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Preferred Skills Experience with flooring materials or home improvement products. Forklift certification or knowledge of warehouse equipment. Lean or Six Sigma experience for process improvements.
