Koch Foods, a leading poultry processor in the U.S., is seeking a dedicated Feed Mill Dispatcher to join our dynamic transportation and logistics team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of feed supplies to our numerous farming facilities across the region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to manage logistics operations, coordinate with multiple departments, and maintain precise records of inventory and dispatch schedules. Your efforts will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to provide innovative and quality poultry products to our diverse clientele. Coordinate and schedule the dispatch of feed trucks to various farming sites according to production and delivery schedules. Monitor inventory levels and prepare orders for feed and other necessary supplies. Maintain accurate records of dispatch, delivery, and inventory data in the logistics database. Communicate effectively with farm managers, drivers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to feed delivery or schedules promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times during the dispatch process. Collaborate with other departments to optimize efficiency and address any logistical challenges. Strong organizational and logistical planning skills Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Certification in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
