What does a great Conversion Analyst do?
You will understand converting financial institutions GL and
Chart of Accounts set-up needs. You will interact with the client
representative to set-up and review posting of ACH, share drafts,
payrolls, transfers etc. You will collaborate with conversion
Analyst, set-up and configuration SME and project manager to
understand requirements and validate conversion performed.
As a Conversion Analyst, you can look forward to:
GL Chart of Accounts setup and sign off. Reviewing the
requirements of Share drafts, ACH, ACH Origination, Payroll,
Transfers with conversion analyst Reviewing the test posting of
ACH, share drafts, payrolls etc.. Reviewing the various products in
system to ensure they are built accurately with correct GL.
Reviewing various screens to ensure the setting and GL
compatibility. Holding and Releasing the ACHs and Share drafts
during live conversion. Providing Project Manager with daily status
of ACH, ACH Origination, Payroll and Share Draft processing
Reviewing the various balancing with credit union and obtaining the
sign off for same. Providing Project Manager with daily status of
Daily CU balancing using Daily GL Balancing Spreadsheet.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology,
Computer Science or similar discipline preferred. 5+ Years’ of
Experience in Accounting or Backoffice activities for banks, credit
union, or other financial institutions.. GL and Accounts related
domain knowledge, US accounting Laws understanding ACH, transfers
and Payroll features Understanding Conversion Process Knowledge in
banks/credit unions Domain Expertise with respect to Credit unions
and working of Products / platforms.
