What does a successful Manager, Inside Sales do?

We are looking for the next group of leaders to join our Inside Sales team in Alpharetta, GA.  We are hiring a Lead Development Manager that will be responsible for hiring and managing a team of 6-10 lead development executives (LDEs). Your responsibilities will include building and strengthening the team's sales skills, training and coaching individual team members, and exceeding the team's performance goals.

We're looking for someone who will dig into the data to gather learnings and drive efficiencies throughout the entire lead development process. You will work to improve processes between sales and marketing as well as ensuring the right technology and tools are being leveraged to their fullest. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Product Marketing.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with multiple business unit sales and marketing teams to implement and run a comprehensive lead development strategy 

  • Collaborate with our Recruiting Team to hire high-potential LDEs

  • Play a hands-on role in coaching your team on sales skills, product and industry knowledge

  • Drive strategic initiatives that provide better results across the inside sales team

  • Work directly with Demand Creation team to develop meaningful, results-driven campaigns

  • Create sales processes and continuously push the envelope for improvement

  • Provide regular qualitative and quantitative reporting to multiple Business Units and Global Sales  leadership

  • Travel up to 10%

Required Skills, Education and Experience: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales/lead development management role

  • Significant sales experience (closing or in sales development)

  • Previous sales management experience

  • Consistent record of meeting and exceeding goals

  • Passion for coaching, mentoring, and growing teammates

  • Experience in managing a high growth department

  • Proven B2B track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-orientated lead development team

  • Strong experience

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work cross functionally, lead projects, and get results

  • Ability to navigate the Fiserv organization and to work effectively across business units and across functions within the company

  • Understanding of the deal process and of the Fiserv Way of Selling

  • Experience in working successfully within a matrixed team environment that is highly automated

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated understanding of lead generation and sales closing techniques

  • Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.

  • Demonstrated business-minded orientation with a genuine interest in learning, understanding and contributing to the strategic direction of the business.

  • Influential Communication – Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive and individual levels. Ability to form productive relationships within all levels of the organization. Ability to listen and “connect the dots” from one area of the business to another.
