Global Banking Technology (GBT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm?s WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, and securities-based loans and tailored lending. Position Description

We are looking for a passionate program manager (aka Fleet Delivery Lead) to drive critical technology initiatives within private bank. You will become a key member of the Bank?s Investments and Finance Technology group. Working closely with traders, corporate controllers, treasurers and various technology partners, you will oversee and coordinate the several mission critical projects, technology solutions, and other strategic initiatives across several business domains. The ideal candidate embodies the core values being client focused, lead with excellence, do the right thing, and is team oriented. The candidate brings knowledge of Agile principles and values, ceremonies, experiences in collaboration across complex organizations, removing impediments, and ensuring team progress towards their missions and deliverables. Candidate must possess strong leadership skills, able to resolve issues and interdependencies across organizations.


Develop execution roadmap across multiple workstreams and organizations.

Drive program (Fleet) delivery through Agile methodologies and standardization, managing dependencies, and facilitating ceremonies.

Identify required resourcing, project estimates, and perform supply-demand analyses across the Fleet in association with group leaders and in alignment with budgetary and Workforce Strategy constraints.

Coach and mentor the Scrum Masters to promote Agile culture, values, behaviors, and principles across Business, Development and Testing organizations.

Manage interdependencies, bearhugs, and handshakes across the Fleet and outside of the Fleet for horizontal work.

Ensure Scrum Master alignment to overall Fleet roadmap and support Squad design across teams.

Create a collaborative team environment, partner with Agile Coaches to provide constructive feedback for continuous Agile improvement.

Ensure ongoing alignment to Fleet KBRs across squads and track squad metrics across the Fleet.

Develop team norms and balance workload for onshore and offshore developers, testers and Product Owners.

Create Squad-level view of work plans and conduct Agile meetings/ceremonies (e.g., Product Framing, Scrum of Scrums, Fleet Sync, Fleet Steering, Chapter Ceremonies, Fleet Day, Annual Planning and Strategic Review and Incremental Business Review (IBR).

Develop execution plan on roadmap and track and resolve Fleet-level dependencies, blockers and risks.

Maintain metrics and report project statuses (e.g., velocity/burn down charts, financial status, issues/risks, etc.) on a regular basis to Fleet Leads, and to senior stakeholders.

Manage engagement with external partners (e.g., Cybersecurity, ASG, DevOps, Tech Arch, etc.).

Take ownership to drive through resolutions of issues or blockers, coordinate directly with other development/product teams on inter-dependencies or through Scrum-of-Scrum ceremony.

Oversee Release Management for large deployments across Fleet and take a lead role in overall release management, which includes end-to-end regression test coordination, ensuring artifact adherence, runbook coordination, and deployment support.

Oversee production issues and infrastructure changes on origination system; partner with Product Owner on impact assessment and prioritization on production issues.

Required Skills

10 years of experience within a large complex corporate organization or major consulting organization acting in a capacity of leader of Scrum Masters or leader of Project Managers capacity.

Highly versed in Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Technical background in integration, development, testing, and/or infrastructure.

Quick learner capable of understanding and implementing front-to-back solutions and performing in-depth analysis as required to resolve issues.

Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications.

Ability to develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents; including identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path.

Experience estimating resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

Ability to proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingencies.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Strong familiarity with Agile project management software/tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.).

Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint. Desired Skills

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.

Excellent presentation skills.
