Job Description(MA, LPN, EMT, X-Ray, Paramedic)Job DescriptionThe Clinical Service Representative (CSR) is a key member who works in conjunction with physicians, mid-level practitioners, office and clinical staff to provide patient care management, administrative functions, and routine clinical procedures in WellStreet's fast paced, high-energy clinical office environment.Please note that we are a COVID-19 testing location.Minimum QualificationsMust be available 5 out of 7 days a weekMust be available for 13 hour shifts from 7am-8pmRotate weekends and holidaysMust be certified having successfully completed an MA, LPN, EMT, RN or X-Ray Techprogram from an accredited schoolMinimum of 1 year experience working in a healthcare setting(preferably urgent care or emergency room)Must be proficient in venipuncture and injectionsMust be well organized and able to multi-task seeing multiple patients at once in a fast-paced high-volume environmentKnowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy and physiologyDocumentation skillsand attention to detailMust have a working knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codesEffective communication and interaction with employers, patients, providers and other colleagues. Ability to use tack and diplomacy appropriate to situationAbility to work with staff members at all levels of the organization in a cooperative, team-oriented mannerMust be able to be mobile and work various positions (standing, sitting, bending, walking) for extended periods of timeMaintain safe, secure, and healthy work environmentAbility to participate in initial and ongoing training as requiredConduct business in a service-oriented manner that is attentive, cooperative, sensitive, respectful and kind with dealing with patients, visitors, the public and all colleaguesExcellent customer service skillsEnergetic team playerBilingual preferredResponsible for traveling to all locationsOccupational Medicine ExperienceResponsibilitiesPrepare patients for and assist with examination or treatmentsPerform triage and obtain vital signsObtain and document patient historyOperate office medical equipmentTrain & work in the Occupational Medicine Clinic, using current EMR system &abiding by the systems & protocols set forth by WellStreetUnderstand and enforce standard health care regulatory requirementsCollect and maintain all patient and business documents while maintaining confidentialityResponsible for quality assurance program for compliance with CLIA waived laboratory and patient result trackers.Perform office procedures including all general administrative dutiesDocument Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventionsAssure HIPAA and OSHA complianceRoutine Clinical ProceduresAdminister medications and non-intravenous injections(intramuscular, subcutaneous & intradermal)Perform aseptic proceduresCollect routine laboratory specimens including phlebotomy, urinalysis and oral swabsPerform basic laboratory proceduresAbility to start an IV, placing a catheter, & splinting a plus
