Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist is responsible for general Human Resources duties and administrative support. Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team, assist with scheduling candidate background checks and drug screens, tracking new hire status, supporting Talent Acquisition programs, policies and procedures, correspondence and other similar administrative duties as deemed necessary.

Summary:

  • Manage the onboarding process for recent new hires

  • Assist recruiters in managing status reports of new hire onboarding process

  • Act as a contact point for scheduling new background checks/drug screens

  • Communicate interview details to candidate, making certain s/he has all of the information necessary (detailed directions, dress code, interview logistics, etc.)

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with employees at all levels within the organization, providing both employees and managers accurate feedback related to new hire onboarding

  • Work with security to properly manage employee background check process and status

  • Ensure new hires have completed all required paperwork

  • Create and manage detailed reports of all new onboarding progress and status

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of Talent Acquisition or Human resources experience in a corporate or staffing agency environment

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with applicant tracking systems and/or HRIS systems

  • Prefer someone familiar with hiring processes/laws

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • High degree of skill using MS Word, MS Excel, Internet tools, Applicant Tracking software (WorkDay preferred)

  • Expert at managing multiple tasks, deadlines and projects

  • High level of follow through skills pertaining to processes and procedures

  • Knowledge of staffing and general HR policies

  • High degree of customer service in all areas of work

  • High level of integrity and strict adherence to protecting confidential information

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong initiative, self-motivated and critical thinker

  • Work well under multiple deadlines and stressful situations
