The Azure for Operators team deploys Microsoft and partner products to provide next generation voice services in over 1000 carriers networks. Our customers have consistently reported the exceptional quality of our delivery and ongoing customer support as one of our key differentiators.We are looking for an exceptional talented Sr. Customer Delivery Consultant whoispassionateabout building voice networks to join our team. The successful candidate will beresponsible for building and testing translations for North American Numbering Plan switching systems and being part of a team that values collaboration and a growth mindset, always striving for customer success.ResponsibilitiesBuild translations for new or existing legacy service providersSupport testing of national networks.Provide quarterly LERG update service.Translations support service of an urgent matter.Level 2/3 escalation and assist support teams when needed.Writing and maintaining internal and customer facing documentation to support migrations with emphasis for zero service impact.Ensuring overall project success and customer satisfaction to drive business growth and renewal.Ensuring that issues found are tracked and driven to resolution.Act as a mentor for other team members in your area of expertise.Communicate effectively with Project Managers and anticipate escalations, working to untangle difficult situations before they become a risk to the project.QualificationsBasic Requirements:BS or MS orPhDdegree in Computer Science,Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.5-10 years vendor support or service provider operational experience with 2-5 years experience with NANP and Class 4/5 call services.Preferred Requirements:Experience in building or operating a large-scale voice network.Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems.Superlative organization skills, ability to manage multiple projects, tracking all deliverables, outstanding issues and risks.Knowledge of trunking protocols: SS7, MF, PRI, SIP.An understanding of IMS architecture is a plus.Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
