Builds, leads and directs teams to achieve Amdocs Quality Engineering North America regions business unit goals in terms of booking, revenue, profitability, operations and delivery. Sets and leads the overall strategy for the business development. Develops strategic relations with various internal (CBG Executives, Head of CSU, Service Partners and others) and external executive and leaders from both IT and business.

Drive culture and professional change to support the industry journey to DevOps, and the transformation from testing to Quality Engineering.

What will your job look like?

  • You will need to set business objectives and targets to ensure success. You will be expected to integrate various functions, taking into consideration other functional concerns and needs to ensure achievement of the objectives; you will oversee AQE North America region business plans across all projects and engagements; you will be responsible for business results of the AQE North America region function in terms of revenue, pipeline and sustainable profitability.
  • You will need to identify and exploit opportunities for new quality engineering and testing services and markets as well as innovative quality engineering and testing methodologies; you will be expected to establish strong partnerships with key decision makers, executive stake holders, both internally (CBG Executives, Head of CSU, Service Partners and others) and externally; you will need to gain full understanding of the business and industry challenges in the related domain / environment, market trends, future technologies, competition and partners as well as compelling events that may affect the customer's business and /or growth creation opportunities for new and existing accounts.
  • You will need to lead 500+ people (including matrix reporting), attract, develop and retain talent to ensure that people with the right skills and motivation to meet business needs are in the right place at the right time, and follow the industry trends. You will need to encourage cooperation between teams, encourage innovative pursuit of finding ways to achieve goals and support qualified risk taking. You will be expected to set unit-level and individual goals and manage the team performance process. You will need to lead upskilling and transform the people to DevOps professions.
  • You will establish proper communication channels, processes and programs and will motivate the team to achieve unit goals; you will drive organizational professionalism and excellence, and assure excellent delivery across all region engagements by enabling and promoting standard tools and practices used in the organization as well as implementing an innovative culture in the organization to drive out-of-the-box solutions; you will introduce improvements to constantly increase efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.

  • At least 20 years of overall experience in IT.
  • Business savvy - proven experience of account management, P&L management and business development.
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management.
  • Leading large organization and team of 500+ people
  • At least 12 years of experience in general management.
  • Approximately 15 years of experience in projects implementation and delivery.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience required
  • M.B.A. preferred
