Job Summary

The QARA Functional Analyst role Acts as the primary consultant between various business units to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Ensures consistency across all Business Systems through the establishment of methods and process. Resolves organizational information gaps by collaborating with business representatives, architects, tech leads and development staff to design information systems; recommending system controls and protocols. Formulate solutions, document, test, implement, test, troubleshoot and support application components including, but not limited to Quality Assurance, Regulation Affairs, DC/Plant Safety, and Packaging Design/Engineering.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leads business analysis and modeling activities by engaging business process owners

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, analyze and document findings

  • Works with cross functional team members to identify and recommend solutions and process improvements

  • Support efforts to implement world-class packaging system and lead key efforts for Quality Management systems

  • Documents as-is/to-be process flows for required functionality

  • Translates business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Maintains on-going collaborative approach with supply chain teams and satellite manufacturing facilities globally to continuously improve supply chain efficiency through technology

  • Assists in testing functionality

  • Assists in training users once functionality is developed

  • Strong ability to communicate with business owners to uncover and document requirements

  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills

  • Experience working on large projects with a diverse set of teammates both on-shore/off-shore and globally

  • Computer System Validation Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Visio, and Visual Basic

  • Self-starter; can work independently

  • Knowledge of SAP (preferred)

  • Knowledge of Packaging Software (Esko preferred)

  • Knowledge of health care regulations and health care distribution a plus

  • <10% Travel

  • Flexible working hours, including the potential for off-hour meetings with global partners during their working hours (APAC/EMEA)

  • Augments SIT/UAT to ensure proper testing timelines/requirements are met

  • Performs additional duties as directed

Qualifying Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 5 plus years of experience in quality management

  • QMS system experience (EtQ system preferred)

  • Packaging Software experience
