What does a great Software Engineer do?
A great software engineer is someone who asks questions, can
articulate business needs and ask excellent questions when they
need further clarification or assistance. You will have the ability
to estimate efforts and deliver on those estimates, on time and
with quality. Being a team player and working with a group or
independently to ensure the overall success of an
organization. A great software engineer is someone who
understand the software development lifecycle, understands their
discipline and applies it to their day to day as well as mentor’s

you will be exposed to a variety of different business impacts –
feature functionality, security related efforts and general process
improvement so that the development team is continuing to grow and
develop software in the most efficient and effective way. You
will work with architects, business analysts and professionals that

Basic Qualifications for consideration:
BS degree in Computer Science or other related degrees
3+ years’ hands on experience developing in .NET and C#
Substantial experience with several of the following
technologies: Unity, TDD, MOQ, MEF (Microsoft Extensibility
Framework), Microsoft Enterprise Library, Prism, WIF (Windows
Experience with SOA, Web services and large distributed
Understanding of security-based design patterns
Knowledge of and ability to utilize application design
methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business
requirements and logical models into a technical application
Deep knowledge of software engineering and computer science
fundamentals (e.g. design patters, best practices, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal
supervision, as well as part of a project team in a cooperative
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to
solve technical and business problems
Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Serve as a technical expert in the evaluation and testing of the
capabilities, characteristics and requirements of existing and

Knowledge of, and ability to use, strategies, practices and

Knowledge of concepts, philosophies, processes and disciplines
for service-oriented IT architecture; ability to design and manage
a service-based IT architecture that emphasizes sharing of business
processes and supports business agility
Ability to design, develop and implement comprehensive testing
strategies. A strong understanding of unit testing, mocking
and integration testing is required.
