Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing is to oversee the company's sales organization while cultivating a competitive sales culture that inspires excellence and produces optimal financial results, particularly in the Group, Negotiated Transient and Catering segments.

Work Performed:

The Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing Resources will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:


-Oversee and lead the direct sales and marketing strategies and initiatives for Atrium Hospitality properties consistent with the owner's objectives and brand standards.
-Develop and implement sales systems, strategies, and tactics, particularly in a proactive approach, to improve the financial performance of each asset and the enterprise.
-Monitor the performance of individual assets against their approved budgets and continuously develop strategies to improve their financial and market share performance.
-Motivate, inspire, challenge, and lead the Vice Presidents of Sales & Marketing to ensure resources and priorities are aligned with the greatest opportunities for return on investment and the company's goals.
-Ensure that the individual property and enterprise level revenue budgets and market share goals are achieved.
-In partnership with Human Resources, build a career development and succession plan within the sales organization that allows sales professionals to grow their career within Atrium Hospitality, keeping them engaged, motivated, and both personally and professionally satisfied.
-Develop and manage a flexible, unique, and rewarding bonus program and sales recognition program that allows Atrium Hospitality to attract and retain the best talent in the industry, to motivate the sales team members to perform at their highest level, and to reward and recognize sales associates fairly for contributing to the financial success of the organization.
-Demonstrate creativity, innovation, and a high level of measurable risk tolerance to meet the demands of the business within the current and forecasted market conditions in the industry.
-Ensure effective and appropriate communication is maintained between the management company, properties, brand partners and owners.
-Apply related experience to provide insight into emerging direct sales, technology, and business trends within the hospitality field.
-Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
