Job Description:

Applied Resource Group is actively seeking an IT Support Specialist, PLM for a direct hire, full-time role in the Atlanta, GA area. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting internal technical personnel on technical aspects of solutions. Including seeking solutions remotely to respond the customer request. You will be the customers first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues; and communicate business opportunities. Primary Duties: Respond to customer service request via phone and internet Trouble-shoot / extract issues between OS and proprietary software/ peripherals and PLM Remotely successfully address problems remotely and resolve demanding cases to escalate to Tier2 support. Committing to working service request until issues are resolved Logging activities into service monitoring software Identify possible business opportunities and inform sales teams Customize customer needs through analysis Qualifications: Minimum 2 years' experience in: Operating systems: Window 10 Network, Domains Virtual machines (VMware), (Citrix knowledge is a plus) Software and hardware (CAM/CAD i.e. plotter, cutter) a major plus Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Trouble-shooting Techniques Must be fluent in English and Spanish, French a plus Nice to have's: Relational databases: Oracle Application servers : JBoss (Java language) Programming: SQL, XML, scripts MCSE or MCP certification or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator AssociateJob Requirements:

  • Resolve technical hardware, software and telephone issues
  • Assist with off-site support for client functions
  • Interpret problems and provide technical support for hardware, software, and systems
  • Evaluate user requests for problems with hardware and software
  • Provide the following technical services to project staff: computer troubleshooting, technical support for software and hardware, staff support and training
  • Assist with network software installation and problem troubleshooting
  • Providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software
