Are you ready to help us make thefuture?This Senior SoftwareProject Manager position is part of the Software Professional Services groupand will lead customer-facing software implementation projects. Theposition is responsible for project initiation and planning, execution,monitoring and controlling, and closure. The position is ultimatelyresponsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, on budget, with highquality, and complete customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities: Assesses contract documents and pricing reviewUnderstands, tracks, and drives completion of all contractual deliverablesPlans and updates project execution owning project planning documents: schedule, master budget, forecast, and invoice schedulesMaintains control of scope, schedule, and costsManages Change Requests/Change OrdersCoordinates customer Change Control/Deployment PlanningExecutes project communication plan including internal and customer kickoffs, design reviews, planning meetings, status meetings, reportingLeads risk management and issue trackingMonitors and manages project process with a mindset of process improvement and team performance improvementAdministers subcontracts and buyoutsCoordinates spare parts, training, and project documentationAssists with managing the creation and execution of commissioning plans, acceptance testing, site/go-live support, and customer sign-offsManages project close-out which includes turnover to Customer Service and final paymentsTravels onsite for Kickoff, Testing support, and Go-live supportPartners across professional services, offering management, engineering, and material handling equipment teams to deliver integrated projectsDevelops strong relationship with customer driving to maintain complete trust/confidence and to exceed expectationsCoordinates hybrid of Agile/Scrum/Kanban and Waterfall software development lifecycle and technical implementation activitiesDevelops technical knowledge of company software platforms, products, user interfaces, and architectureTakes initiative to get ahead of problems and develop solutionsPerforms other duties as requested, directed, or assigned such as internal strategic initiativesYOU MUST HAVE:BS/BA degree in engineering or business3 years of experience in project managementWE VALUE:PM Principles & Processes with emphasis on IPDS phase II II VRequirements Management & Fulfillment, Planning/EstimationScheduling including resource-loading critical path analysisSOW-thru-WBS-thru-BOE-thru Integrated Master ScheduleDemonstrate knowledge of Earned Value ManagementCost & Financials (ex.
