Job Description:

Structural Engineer - Direct Hire or Temp to HireWe have an immediate opening for an Engineer with an EIT or that has passed the FE exam and is a Structural Engineer or looking to go into a Structural Engineering career path. This person will work on industrial projects.Responsibilities:

• Structural design and analysis - Utilize structural software to design using basic engineering knowledge and principles.
• Develop materials specifications for steel, rebar, concrete, and project related items.
• Set up design criteria including code requirements.
• Utilize software to perform structural load calculations.
• Prepare drawing requirements and a schedule.
• Participate in peer drawing design reviews (QA/QC) for structural projects.
• Apply IBC, SPCC, ACI318, AICS 360, ASCE 7 and industry related codes and standards.
• Develop and maintain standard designs and templates for foundations and steel structures.Qualifications:
  • BS in Engineering
  • 0-5 years of Structural Engineering
    • Entry level with a Civil / Structural degree
    • Or, experienced with any Engineering and on-the-job experience in Structural Engineering.
    • EIT or passed the FE exam
