Market underwriting.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will...
Gain In-depth knowledge of the insurance business through
on-the-job development.
Proactively support the preparation of the Underwriting due
diligence process.
Deliver effective and efficient Underwriting support for internal
and external customers.
Proactively liaise with other functions to ensure timely and
accurate policy administration.
Develop and maintain peer level relationships with producers and
clients.
Develop through learning opportunities at the global AGCS
Underwriting Academy.
Begin an exciting career with a leading global corporate insurance
carrier.
To be successful in the role:
You will have...
Completed your university degree or post-graduate study;
1-2 years prior experience gained through internships, academic
projects or employment;
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain
personal relationships with colleagues, peers, managers and
customers;
Strong problem resolution and analytical skills as well as the
ability to grasp and solve complex issues and present solutions to
others effectively;
The ability to assess the impact of issues, proposed strategies and
alternative solutions within the general business planning
environment; and
Excellent computer skills including MS/Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint.
