Job Description:
What does a great Enterprise Architecture - Advisor I do? In
this critical role you are responsible for understanding Fiserv's
data platform strategy/architecture and the data to support that
strategy.You will work closely with our business and supporting
systems representatives to analyze and document the major data and
information assets used by LOBs.As a Data Architect you are
responsible for influencing projects/initiatives and making
decisions related to data including data quality,data architecture
and data management best practices.Acting as an internal consultant
to the business and delivery resources, the candidate will provide
directional guidance for data projects on utilizing the right
system of record for data sourcing and information access.This
person must have strong data management skills and the ability to
plan and execute in a complex, fast-paced environment. Candidates
must have high energy, dedication, and expert-level
skills.Candidate will be responsible for data modelling, monitoring
standard technologies, tools and methodologies and creating and
maintaining business, data, application, and technology road
maps.Perform key data analytics projects and tasks including: data
modeling, building integrated data sets to inform/support critical
initiatives, completing complex data analysis and summarizing
results for stakeholders and senior management. Required Skills for
consideration:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering (or similar) with 10+ years of relevant experience is
required.8+ years experience in designing, developing, and
maintaining Data warehouses and applications.8+ years experience
with ETL process using oracle pl/sql packages, procedures, shell
scripts/ perl/ pythonMapping of relational entities to use cases or
business requirements and assisting in the development of data
services.Create and manage an array of data design deliverables
including data models, data diagrams, data flows and corresponding
data dictionary documentation.Experience in the day-to-day
practicalities of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles
such as Scrum, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc.Ability to make
architectural decisions that enable scalability of data
platforms.Experience with Data modelling tools like Power Designer,
Erwin or other. -Preferred Skills, Experience, and
Education:Experience in the financial services industry.Master's or
PhD preferredFamiliarity with content version control, code
reviews, and agile development methodologyExperience with
technologies such as Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and SparkExperience
