Do it here.What you'll be doing... We are looking to hire a Test
Automation Architect with Project Management experience to join the
Verizon Business IT Team. The Automation Architect will be
responsible for designing, developing and driving robust
frameworks, toolsets and consistent tests that will be used to
ensure the quality of the product. The right person will have
proven core QA competencies and the ability to create stable
automated tests, high attention to detail, and ability to work in
heavily Continuous Deployment environments.
Design/develop and maintain KPI
driven testing/automation framework for continuous
improvement.DevOps Test automation architect role is to provide
automation development strategy and manage projects like 5G for
Verizon business mission critical applications.Collaborate with
other systems, technical leads, as well as business partners, to
drive meaningful strategic decisions.Define, develop, and deploy
test automation solutions and infrastructure that help us release
just in time high quality products.Develop Test Plans, Cases, and
Scripts to support Verizon vision and strategy.Lead independently
on existing and new large Verizon initiatives.Report and escalate
issues according to project and release risks.Create and
communicate test metrics and status reports and attend status
meetings.Assist in integrating and help innovate with new ideas for
more streamlined test data management (TDM) processes that meet the
needs of Development and test teams.Proactively monitor the system
for any signs of weakness, build reliable systems considering
future growth. Main attention is to continuously incorporate System
improvements with latest DevOps technologies, Prepare, plan and
incorporate modifications to address gaps.Work closely with
development teams & various QA Business teams in instrumenting
their workflow to build a solution on an enterprise level f/w which
in turn increases coverage and quality needs.Work with other
members of our QA organization to help define continuous testing
and test automation enablement aspects for our test automation
portfolio and help drive their implementation across the
organization.Create and provide documentation (i.e. how to,
automation standards, DevOps practices, platform roadmaps, etc.),
training to operations and other technical teams, as well as assist
the delivery and operations teams during the implementation and
support of customer solutions.Where you'll be working...In this
hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work
from home and assigned office days set by your manager.What we're
looking for... You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of exerience
- Six or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Java, Selenium, Robot Automation, Angular,
Eclipse IDE, Rest Assured, Appium, Databases, APIs
(REST/SOAP).
- Experience with continuous Delivery concepts and tools such as
Jenkins, vulnerability tools such as Sonar, Fortify.
- Willingness travel up to 25% of the time.Even better if you
have one or more of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Comptuter Science,Information Systems or
related discipline.
- Experience in managing large projects including
supervisory/lead experience.
- Experience with the design and implementation of Continuous
Delivery and/or DevOps solutions.
- Experience with Test automation of Mobile applications
(Android, iOS, Windows) which includes Hybrid and Native apps.
- Experience in creating Dashboard and the KPI customizations for
SDLC metrics reporting for the test coverage, test, release status,
etc.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience in PostGresSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Kibana, JaCoCo,
Elastic search and SQL queries.
- Experience of JAVA, Java Script, VBScript, Java SWING, Apache
POI and XML parsing.
- Knowledge of Software Version Control systems: Git, AccuRev,
SVN etc.
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, Networks, hardware and common
Performance related issues.
- Decision making andleadership abilities.
- Organizational and problem solving abilities.
