Life Cycle Operation Lead
Role Summary/Purpose The Digital Operation Center (DOC) Operations
lead technical issues
related to Incidents, Changes and Proactive Monitoring. In this
role, the
successful candidate must be able to work in a high pressure,
heavily
matrixed organization of a system, infrastructure, and operations
support
staff to deliver highly available systems and services globally to
Client
Businesses
Essential Responsibilities Participate in on-call rotation of
Incident Commanders. Assign tickets and
lead outage response, bringing in support teams as needed to
resolve
incidents.
Proactively lead and drive outages to quick service restoration;
provide
support and leadership for all events, especially high priority
incidents
Maintain control, ownership, and operational authority of an outage
triage
during high-pressure situations
Ensure all Major Incident Process guidelines are followed, and all
Service
Level Guidelines are met during Major Incidents.
Ability to communicate effectively to technical and
non-technical
audiences
Ability to review and approve critical emergency changes and
drive
Incident and/or change Management Lifecycle effectively.
Good attitude & Adapting to the situation and project demands
for
multiple Client Businesses.
Maintain operational process consistency across IT technologies
Works well under pressure.
Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Information
Systems and a minimum of 5 years of
experience in IT Infrastructure support
5+ years of IT Support experience triaging large scale
enterprise
environments
Serve as shift leader and point of contact for escalated tickets
and/or
issues impacting business or customer production
Good to have Change Management experience or understanding
Good to have Compute experience or understanding
Desired Characteristics Working knowledge of ITIL or structured
incident management and
infrastructure support processes
Strong oral and written communication skills; comfortable with
communicating and presenting at all levels, including senior
leadership
Understanding of IT Infrastructure; experience as an
infrastructure
support technical resource
Independently identifies and implements process improvements
geared
toward improving the customer experience or organizational
efficiencies
Manage multiple enterprise system issues, including corporate sites
with
significant impact.
Experience with incident management for application or
infrastructure
services
