What does a great Automation Architect do?Working in partnership with application development, business units and testing organizations, you will establish operational testing technology best practices, processes and tools to effectively and efficiently design and architect test automation frameworks with a fit for purpose in mind.This role allows Fiserv to accelerate their automation initiatives within the GBS business unit.Must drive, manage and lead through: Design & build test harnesses for Automation Testing Design/Architect test automation framework and develop test automation libraries Develop Automated Regression Pack Design & execute Regression Test Pack using frontend & backend test scripts using Automate the Test Data Management using Automation tools Must be able to multi-task several automation initiatives across the business Be a part of an ongoing effort to bring new testing knowledge into the team Utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance Test Environment set-up/management, monitoring and streamline release management Participate in Design and Architecture Meetings Build and configure new interfaces to support testing activities At times the above activities will be handled by this position, but it is also imperative to have exemplary leadership and facilitation skills to guide others on the same tasks in order to allow the Business Unit to be successful as an organizationBasic Qualifications for Consideration: Degree in CS, Engineering or other technical/analytical degree, preferred. 7+ years of related technical and business leadership experience with technical discipline 5-7+ years of management in leading large teams using various SDLC methodologies, i.e., Agile/Waterfall Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience Strong organizational skills Strong experience in financial services payments industry Strong experience in development of CI/CD or DevOps Testing Models Ability to contribute and direct at all levels of testing including unit, functional, automation, performance and scalability testing; be able to step in and provide leadership in test design and implementation Experience in a micro/macro-service architecture environment a plusTravel required: 5% Associated topics: automation, process, prevent, prevention, quality, quality assurance, quality assurance engineer, software quality, test, test engineer
