Overview









Motrex is hiring a Summer Intern 2023 for its IT Department focusing on IT Applications. - We are looking for students graduating between DEC 2023 and MAY 2025. Students will be working towards BS in Information Technology or other related degrees with a GPA of 3.0 or greater. You must have housing and transportation. The position is required to work onsite daily.Motrex LLC is an exclusive service provider to Stryten Energy, a $1 Billion leader in stored electrical energy solutions, including batteries and associated equipment and services for the transportation and industrial markets, as well as Element Resources. - We have over 2,000 employees working at manufacturing sites throughout the midwest and offices across the southeast, west coast, and Canada.You will be working at our corporate headquarters located in Alpharetta, GA. The internship will begin in May of 2023 and end in August 2023 and will be full time (40 hours a week) with expectations of being onsite each day, no remote work. This is a paid opportunity but housing is not provided so you must have both housing and transportation.Our environment is casual but professional and our interns are exposed to many Senior level leaders. Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, testing and deployment of SharePoint and Power App solutions.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and web parts.
• Create custom Power Apps to streamline business processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint and Power Apps solutions.
• Specific duties could include:
  • Creating and modifying SharePoint pages, subsites, and document libraries.
  • Developing forms, applications, and business processes using SharePoint and the Power Platform.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SharePoint, Power Apps, and related technologies.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance on both existing and new solutions.
  • Reviewing alerts from monitoring tools and working with engineers to investigate and resolve as needed.

    We are looking for students graduating between DEC 2023 and MAY 2025. Students will be working towards BS in Information Technology or other related degrees with a GPA of 3.0 or greater. You must have housing and transportation. The position is required to work onsite daily.Desired experiences:

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Azure, and related technologies.
    • Experience with SharePoint and Power Platform development.
    • Experience with front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
