Accommodation is available upon request for candidates taking part in the selection process.Job DescriptionPosition is responsible for all activities related to motor carrier filing services in support of agents, insureds, Account Executives, Account Managers, and Federal/State Commissions. Prepare motor carrier filings for all business units. Utilizes judgment and department guidelines to resolve problems related to filings while providing quality service to internal and external customers. Perform all related activities in an efficient/cost effective manner. Other additional assignments are likely as directed by Operations ManagementPrimary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting extremely critical standards for accuracy and timeliness in a customer service and compliance capacity.
  • Ensure all motor carrier filings meet regulatory requirements with applicable state/federal agencies.
  • Thoroughly review incoming requests for completeness and compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. Refer those that are outside the guidelines to the Underwriting Department for approval.
  • Review and process amendments and reinstatement of cancelled filings within the designated guidelines.
  • Issue filings in accordance with federal/state regulations. In this capacity, ensures appropriate forms are utilized and ensures that all policy information is accurate and filings are submitted within established timeframes.
  • Understand state and federal guidelines and make only necessary motor carrier filings.
  • Issue cancellations in an accurate, timely manner per regulatory requirements to ensure company is not held liable in the event of a loss after policy cancellation/expiration.
  • Update commission approved filings into systems where applicable. Resolve issues with rejected filings and re-issue to ensure acceptance.
  • Other assignments as directed by Operations ManagementMinimum Qualifications:
    • Customer service skills critical
    • Ability to clearly communicate both written and verbally.
    • Ability to interact effectively at different levels and within different audiences.
    • Ail Ability to carefully listen to internal and external customer needs to help develop appropriate solutions.

    • Proficient skills in computer systems and various software applicationsJob Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies:
      • High School diploma required
      • 4 year degree preferred
      • Knowledge of Commercial Auto functions, procedures, policies, etc. in supporting filing activities preferred.
      • Understanding of the insurance business - products, field operations and support systemsFor this position, we expect to offer a base salary in the range of USD 43,000 to USD 47,000(GA). The specific salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including the experience of the successful candidate and their work location.In addition, all employees are eligible for competitive incentive targets, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
