We have an immediate need for an IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN to service the extended Metro Atlanta Area from our Alpharetta, GA - North Branch. As a premier landscape management Company, we are proud to partner with Community HOA's, Senior Living Facilities, Corporate Campuses, Multi - Family Housing Communities, Commercial Properties, CID's, Etc.An ideal candidate would be skilled and highly motivated, with a focus on working safely and providing outstanding customer service. The core requirements of the Irrigation Tech will be to complete assigned work orders for irrigation projects. You will ensure work orders are completed on time and on budget, and repairs are completed correctly and completely.Primary Responsibilities: - Ability to effectively repair and help install irrigation projects - Perform Irrigation system inspections, diagnostics, start-up, present and execute repair and upgrade recommendations - Discover customers concerns and needs, assist in developing solutions - Hold yourself accountable for quality, workmanship, efficiency, and adherence to the proposal - Meet with the Irrigation Manager daily providing updates on your projects - Inform the Irrigation Manager of any change orders for an ongoing project if warranted - Hands-on leadership and training assigned for you - Attend and participate in required safety meetings - Submit and review required paperwork: Timesheets, receipts, daily debriefs, inspection reports and completed reports - accurately and timely - Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations at shop, yard and on jobsitesCore Capabilities: - Ability to Communicate positively, effectively - Written and Verbal - Effective Problem-Solving Skills - Highly Self Motivated with Time Management Skills - Ability to Analyze Situations and Problem Solve - Superior Customer Service Skills and Professional Interactions - Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Quality Workmanship - Teamwork Focused Mindset - Responsible and Dependable - Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and other Jobsite and Driver Safety Regulations - Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlinesRequirements: - Minimum of 1 year as an Irrigation Assistant or Similar Position - Experience with equipment, such as excavators, ditch-witch or other trenching and pipe pulling equipment - Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR for business travel - Working knowledge of Irrigation Installation and Repair - Possess a Valid Driver's License and Acceptable MVR for business travel - Carry and use a smart phone and / or data enabled device for business communications and reporting - Ability to Microsoft Office and Adobe Software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) Work Conditions / Essential Functions: - Will be required to work in a non-climate-controlled environments - Ability to walk and / or stand for long periods of time - Manual, labor intensive position, requiring lifting of up to 60 lbs. - Travel to and work at various locations including both residential and commercial sites - Flexible working hours, including overtime and occasional weekend work - Required to work around heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis Benefits: We are proud to offer the following benefits package to our Team Members. - Medical - HDHP and PPO Options - Dental - Vision - Short Term Disability - Term Life Insurance - Accident Care - Critical Care - 401k with Employer Match - PTO - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays Core Values: At Crabapple we base our actions on the following core values and request the same from all Team Members: - Work With Purpose - Actions Speak Truth - Be Involved - Team Effort - Excited To WorkWe are an (EOE) Equal Opportunity Employer.
