Planner II - with guidance, conducts specific (PSP, Marine, PE)
product research for strategy creation, model lifecycle planning
strategies and model specific planning targeted for development.
Summarizes and reports on market trends and conditions that may
have an impact on company products and services. Responsibilities
include:
- Provides summary and analysis of market (statistical) data,
including sales history, sales projections, competitive situation,
etc.
- Creates comprehensive research summaries to propose product
development plans and strategies based on the investigation
completed.
- Participates in routine research assignments including
attending research events to obtain direct customer feedback and
creates report based on the findings. Who we are seeking: Required
Work Experience:
- 2 years of experience with degree or 4 years related work
experience Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree or related discipline or equivalent work
experience Desired skills:
- Good understanding of Honda and competitor's product line (PSP,
Marine, PE) technology, industry conditions and consumers
- Proficiency with programs such as SPSS, MTAB, Excel,
PowerPoint, multiple web-based databases
- Experience in research, planning and establishing
processes
- Experience in bringing projects from idea to
implementation
- Ability to present ideas and analysis in an effective
manner
- Proficient planning and project management skills
- Interacts and communicates effectively with supervisor and
