How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key
responsibilities)The Pilot Resources team is seeking a Co-op to
support various areas of Crew Resources administration, including
pilot leaves of absence, retirements, verification of outside
flying, and new hires.The successful candidate will commit to a
minimum of 3 rotations:
- Fall 2025
- Summer 2026
- Spring 2027Summary of responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Assist with pilot rotation, schedule updates, and maintain DBMS
data and personnel files.
- Provide analysis and research for Crew Resources, OE training
planning, scheduling initiatives, and support ALPA reporting.
- Identify required training types for pilots returning from
leave or awarded through an Advance Entitlement.
- Deliver customer service to pilots, Chief Pilot Offices, Labor
Relations, and ALPA by responding to inquiries via email and phone
regarding staffing and category information.
- Maintain accuracy in pay protection, pilot assignment files,
job codes, and manage pilot Vacation Training and Sick files (VTS),
including schedule blocking requests.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to support
operational changes, including automating manual tasks for
efficiency.
- Familiarize quickly with topics such as the Pilot Working
Agreement (PWA), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), DBMS, SAP,
and OSS.
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational
procedures.What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- This Co-op position offers educational and professional
experience but does not guarantee full-time employment upon
graduation.
- You must work for 3 alternating semesters and cannot
concurrently take courses, which may delay graduation by 1-2
semesters.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Bachelor's in
progress).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Exposure to analytical/reporting software.
- Ability to anticipate and plan for competing priorities under
strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for handling proprietary,
confidential, and sensitive issues with pilots.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- High attention to detail for maintaining accurate personnel
records affecting pay, status, and benefits.
- Commitment to safety and security of data and personnel.
- Embrace diversity in people, thinking, and styles.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.What
