Job Description:

We are looking for Supply Chain Consultant I 6 months contract Role Alpharetta, GA. Responsibilities for Supply Chain Consultant I: -- Provide support to members of the Supply Chain team by taking direction from individual Supply Chain team members and by utilizing a dynamic sourcing and planning process to provide hands on support for a wide array of responsibilities. Must have the ability to manage complex analytics, have broad depth and breadth of experience to handle buying and planning in an intricate and rapidly changing environment. -- Act as ---right-arm--- of the Supply Chain team; attend project meetings, take meticulous notes, manage supply issues, engage with suppliers on a daily basis and have the ability to collaboratively resolve challenges Lead tactical planning and purchase order placement for fulfillment of raw materials and finished good requirement. -- Monitor/Expedite PO status to ensure on time deliveries -- Lead tactical and chartered projects inclusive of code rollovers. -- Work independently to identify and solve systemic and complex supply chain issues. -- Support and lead development of RFx initiatives inclusive of developing RFx packages and supplier identification. -- Research, select, develop and maintain adequate sources of supply to ensure that the requirements of the categories are met with the optimum quality, service and cost to use. -- Become familiar with internal category data and stakeholders -- Develop and maintain data bases on current and future (forecast) internal usage and for all items within the assigned categories -- Interacts with business units to develop, engage and lead supplier relationships for extracting the greatest value in cost, security of supply, risk management, sustainability and innovation -- Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates and others who have need to know in a way that is timely, complete, concise; candid, accurate; clear, and responsive. Be informative without being obtrusive or vexatious. -- Plan, order, and manage purchase finished goods that come from regions and will be sold in North America -- Along with International Transportation, monitor SAP system and Freight Forwarder tracking tool orders to ensure shipment on a timely basis to meet customer needs. -- Identify and implement plans, in conjunction with Staff Planning, Region Demand Planner, plants, and distribution centers to establish ship date and location that best meets customer requirements -- Work with Planning Specialist, Forecast planner on rebalance the order, this is for both redeployment and resourcing -- Partner with North American Demand planner and regional demand planner on forecast consensus -- Point of contact and Subject mater expert for any testing and verification on new system tools (SAP, OMP) -- Act as a focal point for all customer inquiries/issues relating to order, price, credit, logistics, customs, damage, shipping, or related items. Prepare order status reports for customers as appropriate. -- Develop and promote interpersonal relationships with the purpose of building a team. Job Requirements:Skills for Supply Chain Consultant I: Qualifications Minimum Requirements: --------------------Bachelor---s degree preferred (Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Admin preferred) Five to seven years--- experience in Supply Chain environment (Medical Device experience a plus). --------------------Prior Supply Chain Planning and Sourcing experience required. --------------------Must have experience working and transacting within ERP planning and purchasing modules (Great Plains ERP experience a plus). --------------------Advanced user in Microsoft Applications (Excel). --------------------APICS certification is a plus.
