In this role you will be responsible for the ongoing management of specific technology that is used to deliver and support internal clients in our worldwide Sales, Marketing, Legal and other functional groups. You will: Provides consultation to other ADP technology teams and third-party consultants regarding product capabilities and product problems determining the most effective way to resolve application issues. Diagnoses and resolves functional and technical related product problems for very complex, customized scenarios. Works closely with various groups to troubleshoot and resolve issues including - Implementation, Region Support, and client and management groups. Proactively identify potential issues in design, development or changes to application, product or platform. Develops knowledgebase documentation sharing product knowledge and problem resolution. Manages support efforts with other associates and groups within ADP. Creates reports and recommendations for the Development organization to clearly document product issues and resolutions. Provides information gained through resolving issues with Development to positively influence product architecture. Must possess thorough understanding and background in the utilization of Internet based software and/or utilities including but not limited to Java, XML, HTML, Database S/W, etc. Must be able to identify problems within the software and provide resolution. Research and resolve internal client issues of a tech stack including eSignature, CPQ, RPA, CRM or CLM systems. Diagnose and resolve issues related to corrupt data, application program code errors, system performance, operating environment or third-party system providers. Partner with product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to deliver technology solutions. Be a subject matter expert in the area of application programming resolutions. Proactively identifying potential issues in design. Monitors and makes recommendations to enhance internal and external client experience. Formulate, prioritize and submit incident, enhancement requests and application modification recommendations to vendors or other internal Development teams for prioritization and deployment in future releases. Review and provide recommendations and feedback on maintenance release content, product documentation, business design reviews Coordinate application patch updates Perform Quality Analysis testing when required Project work to evaluate application, analyze best approaches and provide recommendations for proactive services. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree with a Major Area of Concentration in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent in training and experience) 5+ years progressive experience in a database admin or engineering, system administration, network administration, software application engineer or developer, or technology application analyst role. Must have strong process background including understanding, documenting, and improving business processes that include technology tools or systems. Must possess excellent organization, written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, function in a fast-paced environment, work on multiple projects simultaneously, and be results oriented. Must be a goal-oriented team builder and collaborator who creates enthusiasm, fosters openness to new ideas and works cooperatively with others. Analytical complex problem-solving and time management skills, with ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking Initiative to seek out answers, solutions and positive outcomes for both the client and ADP. Ability to work under pressure of time constraints, and to prioritize assignments as necessary Ability to read underlying application code based on business technical requirements but may include SQR, PL/SQL, and Java and have a understanding of program functionality. Ability to coordinate the identification and issue resolution efforts among various entities such as ADP development teams, internal clients and vendors Ability to take over the identification and resolution of very complex functional related product problems from other team members and support groups Preference will be given to candidates who have the following: Prior development experience (C# .Net MVC, SQL (MSSQL Preferred), JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, CSS, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, VB.Net, ASP, MS EXCEL, Batch/PowerShell).
