Position Summary: Responsible for understanding and analyzing the business intent of a specific efforts and eliciting, authoring, refining, communicating, and validating that the business requirements for strategic products, services, or results meet the business objectives Position Responsibilities: Manage strategic efforts and/or lead multiple larger workstreams or projects concurrently Conduct research and lead detailed analysis for complex business problems Oversee and lead peer reviews of team requirements, ensuring that they are meeting proper standards and considering all impacted areas. Expert level communication and presentation skills, leveraging the right method, mode, and medium Prepares recommendations utilizing information and clear connection to the business need, problem, or solution. Provide feedback into cost benefit analysis and feasibility of potential efforts. Works with minimal guidance, able to influence others and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes. Utilizes many tools and techniques to question and push back on proposed ideas, efforts or initiatives Seen as the subject matter expert on process, procedures, and practices Champion of continuous improvement and able to lead numerous actions at once. Executive presence and understanding of strategic direction Position Requirements: College Degree required, or commensurate experience; MBA and certifications a plus 10+ years in a Lead role and/or lead on transformation or large strategic efforts Expert/Detail Industry Knowledge Advanced Problem Solving Expert Level Communication Skills Top level decision-making skills Top level facilitation skills Ability to synthesize a lot of information into clear, concise and consumable deliverables Adaptability to changing business needs and conditions Approach work with a sense of urgency Kemper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
