As a Sr Analyst supporting the Medical Devices U.S. Sales Division, you will develop new and/or enhance existing business-owned systems and applications that are assigned to the candidate. The primary business-owned applications include the source of pricing (SOP) database, Letters of Participation Database (LOP), SAPMD Price Upload Tool, Contract document creation database (CARDIAC), and customer information look-up tool (DASHBOARD). These multiple applications are built in-house and compromise a substantial portion of the Medical Device's Contact Life Cycle Management.The candidate will also lead, influence & develop robust tools leveraging cutting edge analytical software such as Power Platform (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) for internal use by the Strategic Pricing & Contracting (SP&C) team. Use of Power Platform allows non-technical users such as contract support analysts to gain access to the vast amount contract information available in SOP and other databases in a user-friendly format.WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Administer daily / weekly ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) processes to update existing business owned applications
  • Conduct routine quality checks of data to ensure applications are highly accurate and reliable for SP&C Analyst consumption
  • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and resolve system bugs in a timely manner
  • Develop and customize Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to automate and refine processes
  • Collaborate with SP&C Team and identify opportunities to enhance and improve business owned applications
  • Develop detailed project plans to develop, test, implement and train end users as enhancements are implemented
  • Document new and existing workflows in well-organized and thoughtful manner
  • Create technical documentation and cross-train peers to ensure adequate back-up coverage and job redundancy
  • Proactively identify and investigate opportunities to implement new cutting-edge technology
  • Create and demonstrate proof of concepts to assess feasibility, gain buy-in and drive adoption of new technology
  • Collaborate with IT as needed to test and implement enhancements to IT owned applications (i.e. SAP, Salesforce). EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRINGRequired
    • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    • 5+ years of related work experience with a strong understanding of specified functional area.
    • Strong, hands-on knowledge and application of Microsoft 365 products and services including but not limited to SQL Server (SSIS, SSMS), MS Excel, MS Access, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and the Power Platform (Power BI, Query, Pivot, and Automate)
    • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong quantitative & qualitative analysis skills, including experience working with large data sets.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience managing the implementation and the roll-out of projects.Preferred
      • Microsoft Certification
