Learn more at OverviewThe IT Business Analyst leads the requirements development for applying application and enterprise technology to satisfy business needs. They will act as the liaison among internal stakeholders to analyze, document, communicate and validate business and system requirements including, but not limited to Salesforce, Stellar, and NetSuite applications. In addition, the job will entail working with internal application developers to guide and validate the programming of requirements. and then subsequently work with Quality Assurance for testing and requirements traceability. Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponds to organizational needs or opportunities as determined by stakeholder(s) or sponsor(s):Meets with stakeholder(s) or sponsor(s) to discuss an expressed need or opportunity for business analysis Elicit and document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information into detail requirementsTests understanding of high-level requirements according to the stakeholder and sponsor needsRefines, as needed, a high-level scope and engagement plan definition as well as relevant constraintsDefines and clarifies problem or opportunity and documents requirementGathers sufficient information, and facts in order to define the current state of the problem or opportunityDetermines the accuracy and relevance of gathered information as it relates to the problem/opportunity being definedInteracts with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) in order to better understand the problem or opportunityIdentify alternatives and make recommendations regarding further analysisFacilitates agreement with stakeholders on problem statement, high-level scope, and goals for the analysis to be performedFormulates a refined scope definition, problem statement, and goals as neededCreate and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirementsTransforms requirements into technical designTransform requirements into technical designs, interfaces, data collection and validation / programmatic logicInterface with developers as a functional and technical advisor for new functionalityInterface with vendor partners as needed to design optimal solutions NCF's different platformsDocument changes to the design and implementation of the applicationsProvides application and service expertise to users and drives operational best practicesOther Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe IT Business Analyst shall perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Manager, IT- BA, QA, PMPersonal, Spiritual, and Professional DevelopmentDemonstrates a commitment to personal, spiritual and professional maturity through regular prayer, study of Scripture and other Christian learning mechanismsMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational seminars, workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societiesBuilding Christian Community Through Demonstrating Biblical PrinciplesActively integrates biblical principles in day-to-day behavior, exhibiting unremitting integrity and strong moral characterModels daily faithfulness to God and love and service to othersPrays regularly for employees, givers, and charities involved with NCFAttends weekly NCF Devotions and other NCF community building eventsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesPosition has no supervisory responsibilitiesExperience and SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and have reliable attendance.
