Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transportation Engineer with a growing consulting firm that can act as a Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring civil engineering experience with a focus on transportation in the consulting industry and/or experience working with or for public sector clients. The successful candidate should have experience with design and constructability reviews of plans. The role will assist Senior Engineers and Project Managers with management of design review process and permitting through outside agencies. The position will conduct reviews and makes recommendations of approval of potential construction change orders, utility agreements, and construction and utility pay estimates. The transportation engineer will be responsible for completion of discipline engineering project elements such as reports, designs, specifications, and plans.
Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
5 plus years' experience in transportation design
PE
MicroStation Proficiency
Knowledge of GDOT

Must have experience working on GDOT projects This is a long term position with exceptional benefits offered to direct employees.
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay Range: $38/hr+ depending on experience
