Our client, a global financial services firm and a market leader
in securities, asset management and credit services, is seeking a
IT Asset Process AnalystLocation: Alpharetta, GAPosition Type:
ContractJob Summary:The IT Asset Process Analyst is responsible for
managing the E*TRADE IT Asset Management processes for hardware and
software assets as well as maintaining process and procedures for
touch points with other ITSM processes (i.e. Configuration, Change,
Incident, Problem Management). This entails reporting on compliance
to the ITAM and CMDB processes as well as maintenance of best
practice standards, systems and KPIs associated with the ITAM
processes.Job Responsibilities:Responsible for overall definition,
execution and improvement of the IT Asset Management Lifecycle
capabilities (People, Process and technologies) process across the
enterpriseRecommends process goals and responsible for achieving
overall goals of the processWorks with the Process Owner to shape
the overall direction of the process and report execution at a
governance levelImplements and maintains IT Asset Management
standards and processes in line with the goals of the
enterpriseResponsible to ensure that the IT Asset Management
Lifecycle is fit for purpose and available to those who need
access; Identify risks and issues in the process and its
systemsResponsible to ensure the process integrates with other ITSM
processes (i.e. Configuration, Change, Incident, Problem
Management)Influences process adherence within each functional
organizationEnsures execution and coordination of various functions
and work activities across all levels of IT Asset
ManagementFacilitate teams to critically review current processes
for effectiveness, quality and simplificationRaises awareness and
competency in the company via training and awareness
eventsEvaluates, and decides on issues escalated from other process
managers and stakeholders within the processMaintains the system of
record for process and procedure and associated metrics/KPIsEnsure
integrity of ITAM & CMDB Data and integrations with the IT Asset
Discovery ToolsEnsures compliance with process standards and
policiesDevelop and improve process workflow and design in
compliance with standards and any regulatory
requirementsAccountable for implementation and ongoing maturity and
improvement of the enterprise processIdentifies opportunities for
process enhancements and efficiency gainsLiaise with other
functions to establish quality improvementProvide technical
expertise and support for projects and auditsRespond to requests
from end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific
IT Asset Management data informationSkills/Education and
Experience:5-10 years of experience with IT Asset ManagementProven
conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills, ability to
communicate sound technical advice to clients, managers and
technical staffStrong knowledge of asset management processes and
proceduresStrong understanding of server and network software
licensing and desktop hardware/softwareAble to work both
independently as well as collaboratively achieving results within
established timeframes with minimal supervisionAbility to manage
and prioritize multiple assignments supporting business as usual,
user request as well as special projectsAble to effectively
communicate and display a professional, mature attitude in dealing
with internal customers, management and personnel across the
organizationWorking knowledge of Interface of ITAM processes with
CMDBExperienced working with ITAM Tools like BMC Client Management
(Foot Prints), BMC Discovery (ADDM), Remedy, Flexera and
BDNAExperienced with Visio and process mapping
methodologiesbachelor's degree in computer science/ Information
Technology or related and relevant experienceITIL V3 Foundations
Certification (preferred but not required)
