have an immediate need for a LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT AND ESTIMATOR to
service the extended Metro Atlanta Area from our Alpharetta, GA -
North Branch. Crabapple is a privately owned Company successfully

premier landscape management Company, we are proud to partner with
Community HOA's, Senior Living Facilities, Corporate Campuses,
Multi - Family Housing Communities, Commercial Properties, CID's,
Etc.An ideal candidate would be motivated and knowledgeable, with a
focus on detail and creativity. The core requirements of the
Landscape Architect and Estimator are to translate RFP's,
architectural drawings, client requests, and other specifications
into accurate, reliable, and realistic proposals for projects, as
well as perform those tasks to support the required production of
proposals. This requires research, site visits, and frequent
communication with CRM's, city planners and clients. The resulting
proposal has a direct impact on the entire process of construction
and ultimately the satisfaction of our customers. Primary
Responsibilities:
- Generate creative designs and specifications that meet the
Clients Goals
- Create AutoCAD, ProLand, Sketch-Up (etc.), designs, renderings,
and specifications. Communicate effectively with clients, CRMs,
city planners and others related to projects.
- Procure subcontractor pricing for all sub work directly related
to the Enhancement scope of work.
- Create bid forms and manage the acquisition of quotes from
appropriate subcontracts.
- Review all pricing for accuracy and compliance with project
scope.
- Research the project location to assess accessibility,
transportation, and any local ordinances that may impact the
project scope, timeline, and materials.
- Accurately forecast time and materials to complete the scope of
work.
- Attend pre-bid site meetings.
- Gather useful information from customer to gain a deep
understanding to facilitate the creation of designs that meet their
needs.
- Ensure appropriate permits are applied for and acquired for
your assigned projects and support the application and acquisition
of permits for other Crabapple projects and needed.
- Make and give presentations to clients of the proposed
designs.
- Attend weekly Operations meetings to brief the construction
team on estimate assumptions.
- Advise and recommend compliance on all local health, safety
laws and regulations related to Crabapples scope of work.
- Consistently execute assigned RFPs based on internal and
external deadlines.
- Advise on changes and improvements to Access (and other company
systems).
- Coach the Landscape Designers as needed and oversee more
technical designs.
- Update vendor pricing for materials that are not in our current
catalog or require frequent market pricing.
- Maintain Company Vehicle as per company requirements.
- Hold yourself accountable for quality, workmanship, and
efficiency.
- Attend and participate in required safety, skill and leadership
training meetings.
- Submit and review any required paperwork: Timesheets, receipts,
etc. - accurately and timely.
- Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and
regulations at shop, yard and on jobsitesCore Capabilities:

Requirements:
- 2-4 Year Degree, preferably in Landscape Design
- Minimum of 5 Years Professional Experience in commercial or
residential landscape design and estimating
- Ability to review and understand construction drawings, plans
and / or specifications.
- Valid CDL and acceptable MVR for business travel and reliable
transportation
- Carry and use a smart phone and / or data enabled device for
business communications and reporting
- Ability to read architectural drawings.
- Proficient with computer software and technology (Adobe, Auto
Cad, Access, MS Office Suite).
- Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and
timelinesWork Conditions / Essential Functions:
- Will be required to work in a non-climate-controlled
environments at times.
- Ability to walk, stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Travel to and work at various locations including both
residential and commercial sites at times.

weekend work.
