Responds timely and accurately to RFQ requests, utilizing proposal management and pricing tools Works with other internal teams to respond to customer requests (Quotes and Orders), including engineering and purchasing. Process support requests timely and accurately to drive appropriate downstream financial and service delivery performance. Provides support to our service delivery teams to ensure Siemens delivers to its commitments. Maintain and manage appropriate documentation in designated information system(s). Supports pre-and/or post sales technical product advice for development, implementation and operation of customer solutions. Becomes knowledgeable regarding the product and its lifecycle support to improve our front-end quoting process as well as our back-end implementation of our service offer. Utilizes Salesforce, I and SAP tools as well as Outlook, Excel, PDF configurators, etc. This role will be based in the GA400 (Alpharetta) office. There is no re-location compensation associated with this position at this time. Responsibilities This position provides timely support to our customers and the teams that are implementing the service delivery component of the support request. This role encompasses both quoting functions (pre-sales support) and order fulfillment (post-sales support). This role will focus on ensuring timely and accurate quoting activities, working directly with customers as needed to clarity quote questions and ensure that customer orders meet their needs. This role may Include parts order placement activities and order fulfillment actions to ensure that the service is delivered based on Siemens' commitments. Minimum travel required but could be needed for training or staff meetings. Minimum Requirements High School graduate, some college or technical degree desirable 1-3 years experience with customer service, data entry and/or other related accounting areas Customer-focused individual with proven ability to deal with customer concerns via telephone or email in a friendly and positive manner Evidence of follow-through on commitments Evidence of excellent verbal and written communication skills Recognized ability to work independently and as a member of a functioning team Ability to multi-task and manage priorities Computer literacy and keyboarding capabilities; Solid working knowledge of current versions of Excel, Word, Outlook Self-motivated individual able and willing to adapt to/drive process improvement Knowledge of industry business and processes a plus SAP knowledge a plus Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience SAP experience within Siemens environment Siemens Industry experience with LDA product line Accounting experience Organization: Portfolio Companies Company: Siemens Industry, Inc.
