Vice President National Sales Job Locations US-GA-Alpharetta - US-FL-Miami ID 2020-1200 Category Sales/Business/Development Type Regular Full-Time Job Description Vice President National Sales - Opus MedStrategies Reports to:--President Opus MedStrategies Position Purpose and Description This position is considered a primary role in managing new sales growth in the US market. The Vice President National Sales will identify, negotiate, close and coordinate the implementation of new client opportunities or assigned existing clients. Expected Outcomes & Actions (not limited to)

  • NEW BUSINESS GROWTH (80%)
  • Identify and implement new business opportunities of all types:
    • Sale of new business opportunities represent the Vice President National Sales' primary goal
    • Sale or Upsell of existing clients based on approved client accounts that generated no Opus revenue over the prior 12 months; these specific client accounts will be assigned to the Vice President National Sales by Opus MedStrategies' President
    • Growth of additional existing clients based on approved client accounts; these specific client accounts will be assigned to the Vice President National Sales by Opus MedStrategies' President
    • New product/service solutions include ClaimChex for INN and OON Claims, OON Solution, Negotiations, and other Opus Solutions
    • Through building strong relationships to identify new prospects
    • Through identification and monetizing strategic partnerships
    • Develop and expand the understanding and relationships of key influencers in our industry
    • Ensure that all deliverables including contract addendums and business plans are delivered in a timely manner
    • In coordination with the Account Management team, oversee and ensure that new client solutions are implemented appropriately, with the right level of communication internally and externally 2.--OPERATIONAL ENHANCEMENTS--(20%)
      • Achieving high customer satisfaction in effective collaboration with the Account Management team
      • Identify and implement solutions (ex. EDI, reporting, expertise, etc.)
      • Continuously demonstrate product knowledge and service/experience delivery skills
      • Act on trend information to ensure account growth by addressing and understanding underlying causes of negative trends and by proposing solutions to capitalize on positive trends
      • Work with team leaders to address process or product issues with other departments
      • Organize and participate in on-site and off-site client events KSA (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities/Attitudes)
        • Knowledge of large accounts strategic sales
        • Knowledge of Opus' products and the realities of our clients
        • Knowledge of the US Healthcare system with emphasis on self-insured market and the various stakeholders
        • Knowledge of the principles of good customer experience
        • Having a good understand of B2B Sales
        • Proficient in the Dynamics CRM system
        • Excellent organizational skills
        • Very disciplined and focused
        • Ability to ask the right questions and to listen, which leads to uncovering issues or opportunities
        • Excellent interpersonal/relationship development skills
        • Creative thinking
        • Strong ability to persuade others and to close deals
        • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
        • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products Requirements and Qualifications
          • University degree or equivalent with minimum of 10 years of related work experience
          • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
          • Demonstrated success in managing client partnerships
          • Available for 40% to 60% travel We offer you
