Job Description:
Applied Resource Group is looking for an experienced Manager of
Paid Search to partner with collective Demand Generation teams in
the activation of Paid Search Media. Key function is to collaborate
with peer Managers across Media Strategy & Planning to maintain
business outcomes/insights performance reporting and financial
stewardship.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Paid Search
Responsible for implementing, executing and continually optimizing
effective paid search campaigns
Manage paid search bid management using best-in-class match type
strategies, campaign settings, demographic targeting, remarketing,
custom audience lists, and custom-built automation
Be prepared to activate against pre-aligned strategies, but also
have influence on future strategies based on insights and/or shared
learnings from internal peers inside biddable org
Demonstrates a "big picture" understanding of clients' marketing
strategy that can be translated into Paid Search specific
execution
Develop Search strategies and recommendations for annual and ad hoc
plans.
Possess a well-developed analytical ability and a proven track
record of extracting tangible insights from large data sets
Ability to pull data from Paid Search platforms quickly and
efficiently
Administer bid management tools to accurate pace daily paid search
budgets; Implement and test strategies designed to increase
conversion rates and continually improve CPA, CAC,CPSV and ROAS
across national campaigns
Channels you'll be expected to have deep experience with include
Google Search, Microsoft Search, App Download and App Engagement
Campaigns and Apple Search Ads
Work with your team to ensure billing and budget pacing is handled
accurately and on time
Mentor, train, and develop Associate Managers on biddable team to
continually strengthen the department
Agency and Cross-Functional Internal Teams Collaboration
Exhibit confident communication skills with various internal
leadership heads, including brand CMOs to effectively present
tactical paid search plans and campaign status reports on a regular
basis or as needed
Interface with external/internal teams in managing requests
concerning processes and deliverables. This will include but not be
limited to internal brand and enterprise analytics teams and 3rd
party auditors
Partner with Managers of MS&P and the agency relationship at
the "pod" level
Provide insights on competitive tracking on a regular basis and/or
as needed
Partner with the media analytics team to measure impact of ongoing
campaigns and overall plan
Partner Work closely with other internal departments to develop
learning agenda and testing roadmap based on brands' objectives,
insights, and key challenges
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
Required Minimum: Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:
5+ years of hands-on experience in SEM and / or biddable media
Demonstrated experience in problem solving and managing multiple
tasks
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:
Ability to lead teams and deliver results
Excellent project management skills (proficiency in
Excel/PPT/SharePoint will be key)
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet project
deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to lead and influence others
Personal integrity, humility, an appreciation for the power of true
teamwork, and a sense of humor
Self-starter personality who can operate with minimal
supervision
